Overseas supply disruptions dominated, SHFE tin hit a new stage high [Intraday News]

SHFE tin surged rapidly, with the most-traded contract experiencing a significant increase. The recent strong performance of tin prices is primarily attributed to disruptions in overseas mines. The largest tin mine in the DRC has ceased operations, and a major earthquake occurred in Myanmar at the end of March. The planned resumption meeting for the Manxiang mining area in Wa State, originally scheduled for April 1, was postponed, intensifying market concerns about the recovery of tin ore supply. The ongoing tight supply of ore has driven both domestic and overseas tin prices to new highs.
